Adults

  • You feel sad, listless, and exhausted.
  • You struggle with fears, depression, worries, or conflicts.
  • Dreams and nightmares weigh on you or occupy your thoughts.
  • Conflicts or relationship crises leave you paralyzed.
  • You have been diagnosed with some kind of “mental disorder” and want to hear an alternative, second opinion.

There is hope!

Often just a few sessions are enough to address the most pressing problems.

We approach burdens step by step, carefully and empathetically.

I offer you gentle support to help you help yourself.

A thorough case history — asking about your personal life and health background — is the standard and can be helpful.

However, in my experience, small successes can often already be achieved by applying my therapeutic methods, even without my knowing every detail of your personal background.

Teenagers

Adolescents decide before therapy whether their parents or caregivers will speak with me first or not.

What the adolescent shares with me I will not pass on.

Only with the consent of the teenager will I share agreed upon information with their parents or caregivers.

Kids

Children are dependent on their parents or caregivers.

Therefore, they can only recover if their caregivers are willing to make at least small personal changes.

First, I meet with at least one caregiver.

Depending on the situation, the child may initially join an existing children’s group, so they can express their needs in a safe environment.

Conflicts | Couples | Families

Sometimes relationships — whether with a partner, children, or teenagers — can feel “stuck.”

  1. Devaluation, hurt, blame
  2. Outside relationships and the resulting breach of trust
  3. Jealousy and control
  4. Alienation, thoughts of divorce, separation
  5. Communication problems
  6. Illness
  7. Lack of respect
  8. Blended families
  9. Overwhelming life events
  10. Different needs or desires

Even if only one person in the relationship network seeks help, hurtful patterns can be broken, and something new can emerge.

Organizations, Companies, Associations

In organizational consulting, I support you in addressing areas of your "human capital" that are (still) not functioning to your satisfaction.

Effective ways to resolve conflicts and

short-term management of internal difficulties help achieve goals such as:

  • Reducing absenteeism
  • Lowering unwanted turnover
  • Improving productivity and engagement
  • Decreasing safety risks
  • Reducing employee complaints and legal claims

The ROI of employee counseling / Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) ranges between 5 to 10 times the return on investment (Hargrave et al., 2008; Jorgensen, 2007).

Workshops

For small and large groups, I introduce innovative approaches to

  • Conflict resolution
  • Trauma processing
  • Supporting people with mental health challenges and physical illnesses
  • Gaining lightness and inner freedom

Process and Methods

In therapy and counseling, I place great importance on:

  • Appreciation of diverse religious, spiritual, and faith-based beliefs
  • Empathetic support
  • Confidentiality and discretion
  • Working with evidence-based, unconventional, alternative methods
  • Gentle support for self-help

This way, therapy and counseling can have positive effects on your whole life and relationships.

Empathic integrative psychotherapy and counseling combines elements of systemic therapy, psychoanalytic and depth psychology approaches, certain aspects of various behavioral therapy methods, EMDR, as well as other evidence-based methods supported by major scientific studies.
